PHOTO ESSAYS - HANK

Of all the cats I have rescued, Hank (a.k.a Hanky Panky) needed someone to care for him the most. Hank was extremely thin and incredibly shy when I first brought him home. It was clear he had been someone's cat, but had been abandoned. Hank had earmites which slightly disfigured his right ear and was missing the top of his other ear.

It took me awhile to figure out why he was so shy and thin. But I guess I can't blame him for being shy after being left out on the street to fend for himself.

Hank has turned out to be a diabetic and needs two insulin shots a day when he is fed his breakfast and dinner. I can't imagine how hard it must have been for him on the street, with no energy to defind himself. Thankfully I found him and he is now healthy as long as he gets his insulin and his Hills M/D food for diabetic cats.

Hank is absolutely an adorably sweet boy who loves to cuddle and loves petting. Mostly he sits on my desk while I work and keeps me company. He really wants a permanent home where he won't be tormented by my aggressive male cat. He likes other cats but needs to be either alone or with a non-agressive male as he does not fight back. Hank will need an indoor home only.

Hank is a two-year old male orange tabby. He has tested negative for FIV/FELV, has been vaccinated, neutered, and is flea free. He knows how to properly use the litterbox and has had no accidents. Hank needs someone very special as he is offering nothing but unconditional love.
