I rescued
Ricky and Nevra along with their two brothers from a parking lot in Brooklyn
in the dead of winter last January. They were all about 10 weeks old when
I brought them to Hope Veterinary Clinic. We socialized the kittens at
Hope, but it was difficult because the only contact the kitties would
have with people would be in their cage. One of the brothers was adopted
last spring and the other one in the summer. The girls anxiously await
a home and a chance to be normal cats. Ricky and Nevra are both exceptionally
bright and playful. Unfortunately they still do not quite understand how
to be social with people. When people come up to their cage they just
stay where they are, whereas other cats will rub up against the cage and
talk to people. Most mistakenly assume that the girls are not friendly,
but in reality they are quite friendly when they get to know individuals.
Please give these girls a chance, they have had a tough life so far, and
they would really like a chance to stretch their legs and be apart of
your home.
